My Story

Paul Lucia has been teaching Guitar and Bass to all ages in the greater Sacramento region for over 25 years.  The son of a professional classical violinist, he brings a lifetime of professional musical experience and passion to his lessons. 

Paul’s proven style of teaching encompasses a wide range of styles, including classical, pop, jazz, rock, country and much more. He has been a mentor and coach to many students and highly encourages regular performances.

With a heavy focus on music theory and notation, Paul also enjoys teaching songwriting, improvisation and music history, while making lessons fun, enjoyable, and goal oriented. 

Mr. Paul, as his students call him, has been a professional musician playing in many groups and bands since his teen years and still performs regularly. With that experience, he has formed and coached many student bands and is highly active in organizing and hosting group sessions, live concerts, recitals, and open mic nights. 

Paul is excited to meet and teach new students, and to share the love of music and help them become great musicians.
