My Story

With over 20 years' experience teaching private lessons, Mark brings an extensive background as an instructor, performing, touring and recording artist. Specializing in Rock, Metal, Theory, Technique, Improvisation, learn songs and more! 

Mark is a former member of the power metal band Niviane. Releasing 3 albums worldwide, US and Canadian tours, videos and has shared the stage with acts such as Amon Amarth, Testament, Soulfly, and countless headlining performances throughout Northern and the greater Bay Area. Mark is now playing in the Sacramento based Van Halen tribute band “Best of Both Worlds” featuring the music of both the David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar eras.  Mark is an endorsed artist for GHS Strings, Two Notes Audio and Seymour Duncan pickups.
