Jorell has been playing guitar for nine years and leads the Sacramento-based pop/rock band Bahena. Over the years, he’s built a strong presence in the Northern California music scene, with television features on Good Day Sacramento, FOX40’s Studio40 Live, and KRON4’s Live in the Bay.

 

While he gravitates toward Pop, Rock, and Indie, Jorell enjoys exploring a wide range of styles and teaches both fingerstyle technique and rhythm-focused playing. He has performed at respected local venues including Goldfield Midtown, The Starlet Room, and Powerhouse Pub, and has shared the stage with artists such as Jonah Kagen, Mos Patiparn, Eric Paslay, Mark Mackay, and Fayuca.

 

Drawing from years of live shows, writing, and recording, Jorell offers students a practical, encouraging approach to growing as musicians.
